BudgetBud - Full UX/UI Design Case Study
UX/UI case study focused on reducing the cognitive load of budgeting for working college students with irregular income. I led the research and design process, conducting student interviews, creating personas, empathy and journey maps, developing information architecture and wireframes, and building a high-fidelity prototype. Through heuristic evaluation, first-click testing, and cognitive walkthroughs, I iterated on the experience by simplifying navigation, introducing a flexible card-based dashboard, and making key budgeting actions faster and easier to understand. This project went through many changes, but I learned the importance of having a strong initial information architecture.
